The summer right after my mother's death was like spring after a deadly winter. A resurrection. I was 17, the worse behind and I discovered Friendship, Love, Sexuality and Marijuana at the same time.
The title is an unashamed hommage to Smashing Pumpkins '1979', one of the best songs ever.

Renaud Ehrengardt is the main composer of I'dawn. He has lived on four continents, playing music with many different people along the way. I'dawn was his first solo project and the more personal. Now living in Morocco, Renaud eats tajine in Marrakech.
